Fair Ministry Update: It is with a heavy heart that CEF of Massachusetts has decided not to participate in The Big E in 2024. We simply do not have the necessary resources to be able to participate. Without The Big E, CEF of Massachusetts has the opportunity to participate in 2 Additional Fairs along with The Topsfield Fair: The Bolton Fair localed in Bolton, Ma and The Sterling Fair in Sterling Ma. Both of these Fairs are 3 Day long Family Friendly Agricultural Fairs. We pray that God will continue to give us many opportunities to share the gospel at these fairs.

Every year, CEF Of Massachusetts is involved with various local Fair Ministries. CEF will have crafting booths to share the Gospel at these Fairs using the Wordless Book. Imagine having the opportunity to share the Gospel with thousands of children who will line up to hear about Jesus. Can ministry get any better than this? We will be making Wordless Book Bracelets and Keychains with the children, all the while, telling them about God, Jesus and Salvation. On average, this event sees over 200 Salvations, with the Gospel given to over 3000 children. We don’t just give the Gospel to children…on occasion we have opportunities to give the Gospel to teens and adults searching for the truth. As a bonus, we share part of this ministry with the Gideons of Massachusetts, who freely give out genuine ESV New Testament Pocket Bibles. Each person who hears the Gospel not only hears the greatest message ever given, they not only get a fun craft, but each will receive their very own pocket Bible. We also have opportunities to answer questions and provide information to those who are interested in CEF. All this adds up to one amazing ministry we have here. What we need to make this ministry a success is you! We need volunteers to sit in the booth and help make the crafts all while telling people about Jesus. There are many 6 hour shifts we need to fill. This means many opportunities where you can sit and share the Gospel with many, many children. There is no minimum or maximum number of shifts you need to take. God is calling, so please sign up for 1 or 2 or 10 shifts if you desire. Don’t fret if you have never volunteered at a fair ministry before, CEF provides all the materials and training you will need. CEF also provides your fair admission tickets for each shift you take. Parking is up to you and varies depending upon where you park. We know that Jesus commands us to tell others about Him whenever we have the opportunity. Well here is your opportunity to tell people about Jesus. You could make the difference in someone’s Eternity!!!
