Good News Clubs ®

What is a Good News Club?

A Good News Club is an evangelistic Bible club for children ages 5-12. A club is held once a week throughout the school year. During club children sing songs, play games and participate in fun activities that teach them about the Bible and how it applies to them. Each week children will hear dynamic Bible lessons, exciting missionary stories, and learn how to develop a personal quiet time with the Lord. A clear Gospel presentation and invitation is given every week as well as ongoing discipleship for Christian growth.

Where do Good News Clubs meet?

Good News Clubs meet wherever there are children! This can be in a public school, a church, community center, homeschool group, a home, or even online. Often times families who would never step foot in a church will send their child to a local Good News Club. A club can be the bridge between these families and the local church.

Who teaches a Good News Club?

Christians who have a passion to reach children with the Gospel work together volunteering their time and energy to teach Good News Clubs. They are trained by Child Evangelism Fellowship to have a club that is exciting and informative so that children will want to keep coming. Teachers are asked to sign the CEF Statement of Faith and agree to abide by the policies of the organization.

What can a Good News Club do for my neighborhood/school?

A Good News Club provides a place that is safe for a child to go to in times of trouble. It brings the teaching of Biblical morality. If in a home, it connects the child and their family to others where they live, developing a good community spirit. If in a school, it connects children with other Christians and helps them know they are not alone.

How will a Good News Club benefit your child?

Children who attend Good News Club will learn:

  • the Gospel

  • Biblical principles

  • moral values

  • character qualities

  • respect for authority

  • life-long impact

Is there any cost for my child to attend?

There is no charge for your child to attend. Some clubs may choose to take an optional missionary offering for special projects.

Will my child be safe?

CEF has taken specific steps to ensure the safety of your child. All club workers have been carefully screened as required by CEF’s child protection policy.
